Talked to my brother Glenn and he absolutely loves the afghan! He said to tell the Online Angels thank you for such a wonderful gift. He has it on the back of his couch. He said it was a really great thing to do to remember Emmylou. I was hoping he could take a picture of it but his camera is broken. He buried Emmy in PA where she was from originally and he got home to NC to find the box. He said it was such a nice surprise to have something to comfort him his first night back with out Emmy. Eventually he is going to move to Oxford, PA, he said he will share the afghan with the grandchildren then. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for lifting the spirits of my dear brother! Annette
Dear Mrs. Mary, I got the nice package you and the online angels sent. Everything is so beautiful. I love it! I especially like the loveghan. I really needed the paint tray. I have to agree with others that this is a big reminder to me of how much squares are needed. So I will redouble my efforts. I know how much the one my husband got means to him and it has already comforted him because he is a very cold natured person and we are afraid of how radiation and/or chemo will affect him. I am hot natured and we were discussing the temp of the house and I reminded him that he will have his loveghan to cuddle up with in his recliner. He had the biggest sweetest smile on his face just thinking about it. I can't thank you ladies enough for that gift BUT, I have a box of yarn balls beside my chair in the living room and I will make as many as I can. Too many people need that comfort!! Ruth S

Dearest Mary & Friends, I came home from work today to find your Online Angels package waiting for me on the doorstep. What a nice suprise! I opened it with the eagerness of a child, and excitedly examined all the wonderful little things you've tucked inside for my own little angels at Red Cloud Indian School. I was just delighted with the contents, and can immediately think of children who will get so much joy out of recieving one of these precious items. New things, just for them, is such a rarity in their lives. I'm already anticipating their smiles! I've been to the Online-Angels website and read about all the wonderful things you are doing. What an awesome effort to bring cheer to lives that need a little brightening. Dear Mary & Online Angel Friends, My husband called me at work today to tell me that a BIG box had been delivered to our house by FedEx. I couldn't wait to get home and find out what it was. I opened it with all the excitement of a child at Christmas! Imagine my delight to discover that it was from you, and was literally filled to the brim with wonderful toys, prizes, and delights for my little friends at Pine Ridge! As you can see from the attached photo, when I unpacked the contents of the box it completely covered my table! I am so eager to start sending these items out to the children who will enjoy them so much. The generosity of your organization just amazes and humbles me. Dear Online Angels / Mary Reinhart, Just returned from vacation and was pleasantly surprised to find your box of donations!! Looking on your web site I saw sizes for infants 3 lbs and larger. Do you have any smaller? I know that seems quite unreal but many times my babies are much smaller. I would be interested in hats that would fit a 5 - 7 inch baby doll - the size of a large apricot or 6 inches in circumference. Booties for feet 1 to 1 ½ inches long. Again I know that sounds very small but I try to dress even the smallest babies for parents to hold. Many times parents will use this same clothing for burial as you can not possibly buy clothing that small. I'm also looking for someone to make a "Keepsake Bag" - it is simply a fabric - machine sewn bag - finished size of 8 to 10" wide and 5" - 6" tall - I give this to the parents to hold their babies name card, comb, seashell from baptism, lock of hair etc. I would be glad to send you a sample to share - I'm sure there are others who might benefit from using this item. Thank you so much Mary, for the box you sent to my son. He couldn't believe so many people would care that much to make an afghan for him. Immediately he fell in love with the lovghan and sleeps with it every night. The little angels are draped around his bed. You have made him feel loved and comforted and for that I am very thankful. This is a very difficult time for him. We just got approval for a bone marrow transplant and now the search begins for a donor. Please keep him in your prayers. Dear Online Angels Group, Today I received a large box here at the Respite House where I have recently moved into. I couldn't imagine what it was and when I opened it and read the letter enclosed, tears came to my eyes as I felt the love that was put into all that was in the box. The afghan is absolutely beautiful and all the little gifts were adorable. I can't thank you all enough for sending this wonderful gift to me. I signed up for your chat room tonight and perhaps one day I will get to say thank you again. What a great organization you have and such a wonderful way to send love to all of us who feel lost and alone. It is a hard thing to realize that this will be the last place I will physically reside in before I go home.
