Hi Mary, Just a quick note. My sister-in-law called and said that Dan received his loveghan. She said it was a "beautiful work of art", and thank-you so much. It means a lot to Dan. He is undergoing his bone marrow transplant today. He is very optimistic as to his outcome as are his doctors. Thought I'd pass this on to you. Thank you so much. Linda, I would like to thank you and your group for the lovely blanket and tuck ins which was sent to my mother. She was so thrilled that she was at a loss for words. She could not believe that there are people out there who would take the time to make and send such a beautiful afghan to someone they don't know. It sure brightened up her day. She uses it everyday when she is sitting in her chair watching television. Once again thank you so much for putting a smile on my mothers face. Your love and kindness will never be forgotten. Mary, Carol received her package yesterday. She thought it was wonderful. She said she had never received such a thoughtful gift. They are still talking major surgery for her back problem, but at least this morning she was grinning when she limped into work. She sends a big Thanks and Hugs to all the Angels. HI Mary! My friend Donna Payne, in South Carolina called me this morning in tears. She had gotten her Online Angels box and she loved it! And today is going to be hard day since she and the minister are going to talk to Carol about exactly what's going on, since they haven't told her that her cancer has spread so far. So it came on a perfect day for needing some love and cheer. She really loved a little "button"--she was crying so much, I couldn't understand what she was reading about it! Hello angels: yesterday i received a box via fed x. inside was indeed tucked so much love and compassion i cried as i was trying to read the letter to my DH i wraped myself in it and let the tears come. i was so overwhelmed my the love you all showed. i treasure each and every item. thank GOD for angels like you and thank you all for your generosity.the loveghan is on the back of my computer chair.i have donated to these many times but never dreamed i would be the recipitant of such an out pouring of love. i am truly blessed to know such wonderful people. GOD is truly using each of you.i still have a lot of pain from the surgery on might left arm.one day at a time GOD will get me through this.i have survived major surgery in nov and almost dying to recovery from amblatory surgery a yr ago may.i have such a passion for making baby things for different hosptials. as long ad i have yarn, nedles, hooks patterns im happy.i could to continue to rambel on, and still could not find the words to properly thank you all.off to finish a baby ghan for one of my groups, need to start a laprobe for anothe group donaing to a very special goup of people in need then lap robes for my church to give to the local nursing home.again thank you thank you so so much from the ottom of my heart for bring me cheer and love just when i needed it. it's all in GOD's timing. lots of hugs and GOD bless and keep each of you safe and well,. hugs Barbara D-NY
Mary, Thank you so much for the wonderful package! I was so thrilled with the loveghan! I have it on my chair where I can wrap it around me (I have been so cold lately). I got home from the Doctors office today and there was a knock at my door. The timing couldn't have been better! I would have written sooner, but it is my sons birthday today and I tried my best to see that he had a good 16th birthday. He was happy, and I am exhausted. The angel necklace will go with me to the hospital when I go for my next surgery. I do not like being in the hospital without an angel and she will be perfect. I have the other angels ready to go on my desk and the crosses are on my refrigerator (except one, my 16 yo liked so he as allowed to put it on his bedroom wall). I will have reminders all around me of the love and kindness of those who help make the loveghans and other gifts possible. I can't put in words how much the gift of love has meant to me. My slow recovery from my gall bladder surgery, the pending hysterectomy and all the other medical problems here seem a bit easier to deal with. Just knowing there are others who care means so very much. I wish I could send personal thank you's to everyone involved with Online angels, but since I can't, I hope that you will pass along my thanks to everyone. Thanks bunches. Love, Mary

Dear Mary, My name is Dena, and I am the niece of Sharon Shepard. I am sending you this email too let you know how my little girl Alysha is doing. She has been getting her shot every month, and seems to be doing very well with it. Alysha is 4'5, weighs 89 lbs., and she wears a 14-16 in clothes. She just turned 6 in June. How can I thank you enough for your outpouring of love and angels! I have shared half the angels with Lori's father, and he was touched that so many of you would care that much about our precious Lori. I think angels have come from every state in America! And the afghan is lovely, but my cat Izzy (Lori named her) thinks it belongs to her. I can't leave it lying around or she's sleeping on it! Again, words seem so inadequate to express my appreciation. Frances Carbone recieved her love-ghan box... and loves it! She doesnt know who put her name in for this, and is going nuts trying to figure it out. She had to go to the hospital for a cat-scan and had to take the ambulance to the hospital, because we would never have been able to take her... on the short rid there and the short rid back she was yakin away about how she was sent this... when she got back in the house, she sat down on the couch and cuddled up with it. She said to my mom, (keep in mind shes 79) "I guess I SHOULD wash it...but it doesnt seem like people who do these types of things would send you anything dirty" She has gotten the biggest kick outta it! Its so nice to see her happy about something again.I just hope she never finds out who put her name in.,... because if she found out it was me... shed hit the roof... even if she liked it now, she would rather complain and yell about it knowing it was requested by my mom and i... Today I am so overwhelmed. I looked on my front porch and Fedex had been here and left a box from online angels. The box contained a beautiful laprobe, the front is pieced togeather with flannel and it will be so warm when our Wisconsin winter arrives. I look forward to snuggleing up with it but the love that comes with it will be so much warmer. Though I am alone in the house I feel the presence and care and concern of the sisters and know the spirits of so many are here with me. The box also contained a new testament, a cross, a star of David, a small figureine and a prayer stone. To who ever the angel responsible for sending this Thank You. It means so much. Sandra Bartel

Jerri Lynn Baker received her loveghan and was thrilled. She said when she put the loveghan over her she could feel the warmth of all the women who helped put it together. She slept with it over her last night. She will begin treatment soon. They have to put a feeding tube in first. She will be in the hospital for one week having chemo and radiation, then for seven weeks she will have outpatient radiation. She will then go back into the hospital for one week for more chemo. We hope and pray that when the treatment is done she will be cancer free. I hope to see her and her mother marching in the survivors march at the Relay for Life next year. Mary and Angels, I recieved a call from Andrea Wagner she was so delighted to recieve her loveghan box. She called me in tears and she said Thank You,and that was the nicest thing someone could do for someone. She said I was the only one she could think of doing something this Special. Ladies, You have done it again. Sami received her box and LOVES it. She had me read her the letter, only because she can't read cursive yet. After reading it, she left the room for a bit and then came back and told me how nice it is that she knows there are people out there who don't even "know" her, but still love her and care about her.
