I wanted to let everyone know that I received a wonderful gift that had a quilt, some ribbon crosses on plastic canvas, a prayer rock, a button card, a very nice crocheted snowflake ornament that has made me feel very special. I have been sleeping most of the last 8 days and I am thankful that I have a wonderful friend who arranged this for me. They are the most beautiful things and I love them dearly! meant to send this email this morning but alas! it is one of my days to sleep away. I wanted to let you know that the Cheyenne Children's Services received two boxes and wanted me to let you know how much they appreciated it. The woman who runs this is a volunteer who does not get paid. Their funding was cut off due to budget a few years ago but she uses her own time, money and whatever she can come up with to keep this going. She has a great interest in the children getting an education. The illiteracy rate is extremely high there and she determined to take those numbers down and get these people back on track. She was already handing out the pencils and crayons and paper when she talked to me. She thought she was in heaven and so ecstatic that they had received something. This woman goes door to door to get help for these little guys and I appreciate all that you send to her and to the elderly program on the Cheyenne Rez They still have hundreds of children that you can sponsor for $20 a month to help them stay in school. She was hoping maybe we could help for Christmas and Halloween. I understand her passion for these little ones as they are my people. I have vowed I would pick up cans if that is what it will take to help them. There is so much misery in the world right now and so much in need so I do want to let everyone know that what you send to the Cheyenne Rez is very much appreciated and used. Nothing is wasted. May the Creator of All bless you for all that you do in his name. Mary J

Well, this time it was for Glenn and I. From Online Angels. We have never heard of this place and wondered what it was. In the box was the most beautiful love-gan/laprobe we have ever seen, also there were 3 beautiful hand made crosses, an angel and something called "A cross in my pocket", that is now in Glenn's pocket. This has made Glenn so happy. he got tears in his eyes and said he doesn't know how to express just how this has made him feel. We want to thank who ever did this with all our hearts. ..................................... Thank you for your thoughtfulness and caring. Glen just said that this act of kindness had made his day. God bless you. Charlie Ann & Glenn

You folks are so kind. Cindy, Nita received your package AND Vee she also has received yours. When AC4C says that one item means so much to one person that is so true. Of course you have done so much more than 1 item. Cindy all the kitchen things were so thoughtful and needed. And Vee I think I am up to date on what you have sent. The iron and cooking dishes with implements were needed. You have been so generous. Thais from Craftin Corner is offering to do what ever she can. Mary's Online Angel sent a afghan with lots of other goodies in the box. What is very important is that Nitas older dd has cleaned out the babies drawers and gave them to me to share and my dd from Maine is very sure that as she has things to share it will be through one of my chariy sites as they have helped her sister so much. So your gifts will keep on giving. G-d bless you all. Gloria P.S. She will get her thank yous out very soon. Misplaced them for a few days. And she is in her borrowed home this week. Frank Smith

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for sending my daughters a care package. I don't know who put our names into you or how it all came about. But it really lifted my daughter's spirits after her brain surgery. My youngest daughter was so pleased that she was also thought of even though her sister was the one dealing with health issues. They love their fleece blankets and sleep with them nightly. Connie M. Snyder

Just wanted to tell you that Terah received and very much appreciates everything you all sent her. She is recuperating. She's doing physical therapy for her leg. She's in good spirits. Thank you for your continued prayers. I apologize for the belated follow up. Things have been really hectic in my neck of the woods lately. Thanks Sally

was over at the house yesterday and the package was already there. Naturally, the first question Virginia asked me was did I know who sent it. I told her, and explained how we try and lunch together whenever we can. She said she always liked you and was glad we kept in touch. The stuff is just wonderful, especially the gorgeous lap blanket. She said it was one of the nicest things anyone did for her. She will treasure them always! She asked me for your address and phone so I gave it to her. I would imagine you will be hearing from her. Gotta scoot as I'm swamped still. Talk to you soon! Virginia

Mary- I was gabbing to my neighbor last night about cooking/projects etc and came down to talking about a yarn donation I received from our very own Carole C. While I was telling her about all these great things I could do with it (squares, chemo caps, blankets)and how nice it was and what a valueable donation---I talked myself right into a corner as she realized where HER loveghan came from!!I think it was last year and she never had a clue who sent her name in! But she remembered the name of the group! She ALSO remembered all the other things in the box MARY! and listed them off one by one! Anyay it seemed to have done its work! And she keeps the afghan at her chair eversince she received it. Brenda/NY

Mary, Bless you and all of your angels. I just looked at this list and I must say that I am truly amazed at the number of packages you are able to send out during the year. I was so thrilled that you were able to send a box to my friend, Jeanine, and that you previously sent a box to my MIL when her mother passed away a couple of years ago. What you do is just wonderful. It is truly a blessing to many, touching hearts and bringing comfort and love to people in times of need. Keep up the great work! P.S. I have a box of afghan squares I have been working on and have decided to send them to your group. Just a few more to finish up and then I'll post them to you. I want to be a part of this great group and have a chance to pass on the blessings that have been shared with my friends and family. Catharine

Hi, Mary! I'd sent Linda a note last week checking on the box of items, to be sure we were on the right track with the gently used clothing, etc. Please find below her note back to me. It is heartwarming to know that we at Online Angels are part of God's plan for providing to these precious people! Thanks for all you do to help us! mlh -------------------------------- Dear Mary, Feed Back on the way! 1) The box is perfect. They come to the door without any trouble. They are well wrapped. Words are inadequate to express how we feel about the items. We will share what went out to many who receive a Monthly Newsletter from us. One week ago, a box from the "On Line Angels" arrived. This week was something else consisting of in and out guest in the Guest Apartment, meetings, orders coming and going, well to make a long story short...the box arrived and for a few days, we couldn't even find time to open and see exactly what did they mailed us this time. On Thursday while we were running 90 to nothing, Melissa opened the box and began to sort it out to see which needs could be met the best. Well, this box had toddler clothes, not common because most of the items we get are for the abandoned babies. Well, the amazing part of the story is that she neatly prepared them, knowing that we would seek where they could best be used. We started our Friday as normal with loads of work, one day later, when the phone rang and it was another organization in our country who had a representative call and ask, "Linda, there is a real need for toddler clothes in another city at their orphanage, is there a chance that you have anything?" Well, one week before the box arrives, one day before Melissa finds time to sort and prepare, the next day the need is mentioned and on the following day the clothes are off to that city to meet the need! How does one accept and process this information except by saying, "Divine appointments!" We talk about them here, we experience them here and we must share and hope that you share in our excitement about what He is doing in our country! We hunt for needs, try to meet them and sometimes all we do is sit and wait and the needs come to us. We do not pick any particular type of person, however we do verify that we are meeting a need. We will take the time to say that we are overwhelmed with the generosity and love that is being extended by "Online Angels". We never imagined that we would be able to share so much because of others having willing hearts and sharing with us. Our prayer is that God will richly bless your group in every way for the great work that you are doing. All our love, Bob & Linda JACKSON

You sent Hailey Sadler , Hazel Park , MI a box a few weeks back. Unfortunatly Hailey past Sunday. But, the family had made videos of her last weeks and played them at the funeral home for all to watch. I got to watch her open your package on the video! And the grandmother (my sisterinlaw) made sure all there watching knew what you did!!! The afghan was lying with her when she passed lying on her daddys couch. What a sweet comfort it was for this 4 year old. Thank you so much for being great!!!! I'm sure a pat on the back and messages as this makes it all worth while. With a heavy heart and graditude for all who cared, Nancy Wilcoxson

Online Angels Thank you! My heart is so full of joy over your beautiful, hand made gifts! God is so good! I was just thinking yesterday that while I was thankful we have a place to stay with furnishings, there is an absence of warmth (in my opinion) when there is the absence of anything hand made. And though I never fashioned any kind of prayer from my thoughts God knew the desires of my heart and today, I find a ox of hand made items for our temporary home now, and God willing, a rebuilt permanenet home soon! I love the afghan, the crosses, the snowflake - everything. Thank you so very, very much!!! Lofich Family Kurt, Deborah, Gregory & Gabrielle

Dear Mary, Email is great-FedEx is great but sometimes we just have to get personal in our "thank-you" by good old snail simple letters that are designed to say, Thank-you! Angels has truly been a blessing to us and our ability to build relationships making a difference in the world. God bles you Bob & Linda Jackson

Ms Reinhart, Sincere thanks for your donation to the Billy Mills Youth Center, The Main Cheyenne River Youth Project. It is caring people like you that makes our work at the "Main" possible. Pilamaya (Lakota for "Thank You") Jacquelyn Taylor
