Dear Mary & the Online Angels, When our Son, Sgt. Andrew Brown, died in Baghdad in October, I thought that I would never be able to use, or even look at, the laprobe that you sent us. As time moves on, I now know that your gift of love will be warmly accepted and used. My husband, son and I were truly touched by your kindness. Sincerely, Lourdes, Bill & Kevin Brown

Dear On Line, We just received what we think was your last sent package. We do not have the paperwork to confirm the number but it was filled with crochet packages for little ones. Most of it crochet sets, all in baggies and marked well. This might help you. Blessings, Linda Jackson

My wife (Dorothy Farina) and I would like to thank your organization for the love-ghan that we recieved. It arrived at a time when my wife spirits were sinking. Last month she had a double masectomy and has started a new combination of chemotherapy drugs. These have been making her ill, cold and uncomfortable. The arrival of the colorful, cheery love-gan and the wonderful letter of encouragement lifted her spirits and brought her back. She has literally used it daily. She and our 2 year old daughter enjoy spending time together under it talking about the bright colors and designs. It is one of the few times where the two year will stay still. Thank you for supporting us as we battle our cancers. We are blessed that we have such support to help us through this. Things like this give us the strength we need to continue on through the low points so that we can be there for our daughters. Thank you.... Peter Farina

Also, got a great box from you-lots of pretty blankets, thanks! You are the early bird! Karen Peeples

But you know, today, two small boxes were prepared - one for a boy, one for a girl for poor families in Tunis. Then one baby girl and one baby toddler prepared for a poor family in Bizerte. It was so nice to be able to meet these requests. In the morning, I bring one package for baby boy that will go to Gabes. This is the far south. We are spreading joy from On Line Angels all over this country! Love ya, Bob & Linda JACKSON

Hi Mary Many thanks from Janine for the loveghan - it was a lack of communication - we hadn't told each other about the loveghan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! e mail hugs LYNN

Dear Mary & Angels, On behalf of the Cheyenne River Youth Project I would like to thank you for the school supplies and other items that were sent. We appreciate all you do for us and we will distribute them to the kids. Thanks, Sherrie

Dear Online Angels, Thank you so much for your thoughtful gift and your thoughtfulness. As I look at the loveghan I think of all the time spent by all the different people and am warmed as much by that as I am by the yarn connected together. Bob & Sharon Lemke

Sorry to have taken so long but our babies have beer keeping us quite occupied. We want to thank you for the gifts you sent, especially the soft mini-blankets, we use them to have something soft next to their skin. These worked perfectly! Thanks again from the nurse's, families, & babies at St. Vincent Neonatal Intensive Care

Online Angels, Just a little not to say thanks! The quilt & pillow set for Brynn was beautiful, she takes her naps with it. Also, my afghan was a beautiful gift of love in my time of healing. Thanks for thinking of us we were very lucky. Linda, Stacy, & Brynn Bressler

I have been in the bed off and on for the last three months. I am totally disabled but I am veery grateful for each day that God gives me to serve him. Thanks again. Vickie

Dear Mary and all the Online Angels, Yesterday afternoon I received the most wonderful surprise. A FedEx van pulled into my driveway and the man delivered one of your wonderful loveghan boxes to me. I just sat on the lounge in tears, wrapped that loveghan around me and felt so much love and care from you all. There just aren't words enough to thank all of you. And the timing couldn't have been better. Quite aside from my ill health over the last 5 weeks, I was feeling especially low when the box arrived. My mother has phoned me once since I got sick...she's totally focussed on moving house at the moment and doesn't seem to be able to find room in her head or her heart for anything/anyone else. My brother and sister in law have been great in keeping in contact with me to see how I'm going, but I've been feeling kind of "unimportant" in my parents' lives through all this. Your wonderful box made the world of difference to me. I had a bad night with pain last night and didn't sleep much. I finally got up, went and sat on the lounge, wrapped myself up in that loveghan and felt the pain and hurt start to just ooze away. I even managed to fall asleep out there for a little while, then woke up and went back to bed and slept soundly for about 4 hours. I keep remembering the thank you letter from the lady who received one of these wonderful loveghans who called it her "magic ghan"...and she's exactly right. They truly are magical...you can just feel the love, prayers and care in each and every stitch. Thank you all so very very much. I was so surprised to receive the box. The loveghan is definitely my most treasured item and always will be. The crosses and the bunny and butterfly in the box are also just so beautiful. There are so many very talented and caring ladies in this Angels family of ours. Again, thank you, from the very bottom of my heart. With much love and hugs and gratitude, Jane in Australia

This is to Mary R. and all my friends here........Fed Ex just left and I have received such a precious gift.......a gorgeous loveghan (and other trinkets of kindness) made from all you great ladies.......I'm so totally overwelmed to receive such a loving gift......tears are flowing as I type... I haven't even begun to try and accept what has happened........pain/sorrow is still to raw. I can going day by day in a trance.....OK 1 minute - bawling the next.......I know in time it will get better and easier to accept but for now it's obviously too soon......so many regrets of things we didn't get to do together and things she will miss in the future with us........damn I wish I could've learned to crochet and knit every time mom tried to teach me.......I still find myself saving things that come through so that I can pass them on to her to make.....and then wish I could make them....damn!!! I want to thank everyone for their kind words last week.......I have read and kept them all.......just haven't been up to communicating yet....hard to find the right words. One thing I do know is that this is one terrific group we have here.......and I feel very blessed to be apart of it!!! ((Hugs)) Lisa

I just wanted to let you know that my nephew finally came home for vacation, and one of the first things he did when I was over there visiting when he got home was pull his loveghan outta his bag and said and here is my loveghan. You could tell that it was something he appreciated because it was one of the first things he pulled out while showing us all his stuff, and you could also tell that he used it very often cuz it had started falling apart!! LOL Have no fear though, auntie stitched it back up and he will be bringing it to (?)North Dakota (I think thats where he is going)with him when he leaves here. Im sure he will be in contact with you and I plan to take a photo of him and the blanket to send. It was sooooooooo good too see him after 10 mos of him being soooo far away from home the first time in his life. I just wanna thank you again for sending him his loveghan when he was soo down in the dumps after basic training when he couldnt come home. Now he is finally here and soo happy to finally see his family!! (and g/f too who he is asking to marry him, you should see the ring!!!Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Im jealous!!) Lisa in Wisconsin

SO I WAS WONDERING COULD I KNOW WHICH FRIEND THIS WAS SO I COULD GREATFULLY THANK THEM. YOU ARE TRULY SPECIAL PEOPLE AND THANKS AGAIN. CRISSY

My Dear Friends I am writing to say a BIG thank you from the bottom of my heart, I arrived home from school to day and my mum and dad handed me this large box. When I opened it I had tears in my eyes at the thought of how kind people can be. The gifts are so beautiful and the effort and love that must have gone into the beautiful loveghan/laprobe that you made for me is out of this world. I am going in hospital on the 9th March ’05 but when I come out of hospital i will use it to keep me warm when I go out on my scooter. I am going to take the teddy into hospital with me because I just love teddies and it’s got so much love in it too. I was upset when I went to school this morning, because my gran had been taken back into hospital very poorly, this time last year she was diagnosed with lung cancer and I love her to bits, it was hard leaving her in the hospital looking scared and not really knowing what was going on. You have touched my heart & put a big smile on my face God bless you all. With lots of love and hugs from Kirsty x x x
