I was having a bad day yesterday and all of a sudden the door bell rang and it was a Fed Ex guy. He had a package for me. He went to our old home and the lady told him we moved next door here. And in this box was a beautiful comfortghan and some other items from this wonderful group. Thank you so much! It made my day. The funeral was today so I am hoping to be back to making items again very soon. Got a horrible headache right now from crying but I am feeling ok other then that. This group is so wonderful. Diana

Mary: My step-daughter and her husband received their box yesterday. It was beautiful and they were both so uplifted by it. Even though they are young, 19 and 23, the miscarriage was very hard on them. Dear Mary Thank you very much for your ministry to us. I don't know what you did, but after my email about having to stop shipments because of airport fees, we continued to receive the packages, but have not had to pay any fees. So this is fine with us, of course. Please communicate our warm thanks to the ladies who invest in this ministry. Weather here is similar all year around to southern California, so we are getting into mild temperatures now, in the seventies. So we do not need any more woolen clothes or blankets. Babies here do not have beds or cribs, but are layed on a mattress on the floor, so larger blankets that can wrap them completely are better than small ones What we could use is toddlers clothes and baby pyjamas, as well as booties, socks or shoes. They do not need to be new, just in good condition. The ones you sent before were very nice. Small toys are nice to give after the kids get their shots. Little boy's favorites are miniature cars, just very simple ones. Little dolls are nice for girls. Small stuffed animals are good for babies. You will find a photo attached. I was having a very teary eyed day missing my little Amelia when your package arrived. The colors are so warm and soft just like she was. It brought a smile to my face for the first time in many days. The handmade crosses and the beaded angel will always be a treasure to me. Mary I just wanted to let you know that I talked with Ruth this morning and she got the loveghan. She was wondering who it was from so I told her a little bit about Online-Angels and she said that when she saw how beautiful it was she had tears in her eyes that there r soo many wonderful ppl in this world. She also asked if she needed to send anything and I said a thank you would be just fine. She hugged me and when I was walking away she yelled out"I love you!!" How wonderful is she. Also I noticed the St. Vincent de Pauls truck outside and they were hauling away her husbands clothing. How sad that must have been for her. I dont believe she has internet so I bet she will be sending u something in the mail. Shes just such a sweety and I couldnt believe at the time of her grieving she would think to ask if she needed to send anything in return. Thats just the type of person she is.. Lisa in Wisconsin

Just wanted to share with you all the good we do, although we know it :) I had a girl at work approach me last Friday to say she knows that I knit/crochet all the time and have I ever heard of the Online Angels? Well, I enlighten her as to our group of small but dedicated individuals. She has a friend across the country who received a box and she was just in tears. Said the loveghan was beautiful and she now wants to learn to either knit or crochet to join in with us. This girl is coming to the Boston area this month so I may try and 'hook' up with her. Depends on which she wants to learn and whether she is right or left handed. Just amazing how word gets around and the feeling we give to people. Joan

Dear mary, I first have to say how sorry I am not to tell you how I enjoyed the afghan you sent me. I know its a few months that I have it and its hanging on the back of my couch where everyone can see it. I do live alone in an apartment for seniors but once you go in your place & close the door I am alone. My niece she put my name in lives in PA where my sister and other family live. My son lives in NJ who I see a few times a month. So I was feeling real down hearted when the package arrived. Its very nice the colors so cheerful and the extra little crosses one on my lamp the other I carry in my purse. The pin on a blouse or jacket. So thank you & the others who gave their time to make me happy! I enjoy it very much. I don't have a computer so I never heard of Online Angels. My aunt received her box and was so touched and awed by the love that went into each angel and every other thing, and by the wonderful comfortghan. I haven't seen it yet, but she said it is just beautiful and so nice and warm. Thank you all so very much!! :-) They took the staples out of her hip Thursday, 3 more weeks for the cast on her arm, then a brace. She is still using the walker but is doing good. Mary and you wonderful ladies of the group, my daughter Misty received the box from this precious group yesterday. She was so appreciative of all the wonderful angel things you sent her. All was wonderful and means so much to us all in the family. Misty is in Chicago today with friends who took her to her dr. apt. (Chicago is 5 hrs north of where we live and gets expensive for us at times to take off work and travel up and back). We've had some wonderful people of our church who has volunteered to drive her up as she has had to go every week there for a long time. Right now it is every other week until surgery on May 2 and then they'll tell us. May 2 is when they put in a temporary stimulator in her back for the pain. If this works and we are strongly asking and pleading with every one to pray positive for us, then she will go back in the following week for 2 permanent ones be put into her back and neck and it is at least 2-3 day hospital stay. I'm taking off work and staying with her in her room (hotels are expensive). My husband is staying home and be our prayer warrior as he always is. Sorry to be so long. But wanted to share. Mary, Thank you sooo much for the beautiful lapghan and angels you sent to my aunt. My cousin called me yesterday and told me that she had received it. She brought the lapghan, 2 of the angels, and the angel pin to the hospital yesterday. We put the lapghan across my aunt's feet, the 2 angels on each side of her pillow, and pined the angel pin to her pillow. We were all expecting the worst when the dr. wanted to speak to us, but suprisingly, he had good news!She's improving, and actually opened her eyes when the dr. spoke to her, and was tracking his voice with her eyes, then looked at him. She's still in intensive care. She was brought to the hospital on the 30th because shewas having difficulty breathing. She's in the early stages of both emphysema and alzheimers. She had double bypass surgery a yr & a half ago, and hasn't been well since the surgery. The last time she was hospitalized (about 6 months ago) she told mycousin, "next time I won't be going home"! But it seems that God isn't ready for her yet. And the lapghan and angels are working their magic on her. I'm FINALLY back onlineas of today, so I'm trying to get caught up on everything that's goin' on. Again, thank you again for the box. Everyone at the hospital was commenting on the beautiful lapghan and the angels. I was so proud to be a part of this group! Hugs, luv, and blessings, Maria
I know it's been a few months but I just found your site and I wanted to thank you so much for the comfortghan you sent my mom, Mary, when she was in the hospital. She has since passed away but I know it meant a lot to her to receive your package. She told me about how beautiful it was and when I went home for the funeral I got to see it.
