Mary, Please let everyone at Online Angels know that I appreciate the love that was put into my gift. May God bless each of you with His love and care. In Christian love, Nancy Haber
Dear Mary, Thank you so much for making such a difference in my life & touching my heart. When I opened the box and saw those lovely gifts that people poured their love, time, friendship, giving, support, money, etc., I was overwhelmed how people are so special & care that don't even know me but could tell & felt their love & compassion for others. BUt I reallly cried when I read your letter how others cared & loved me, etc. I cry now realizing it, thinking about it, etc., but just pray I felt as special as all of you are. I started to write a letter and tell you about myself & how I feel but don't want to bother you or burden you & not sure what's appropriate. So I want to thank you so much & all the online angels with all my heart felt thanks. I thank God for people like you who truly care, & make a difference in others lives. I want to get better & feel worthwhile & make a difference in others lives there are alot of problems I need to know how to do with it & pray for God's help all the time & guidance in every area of my life. I pray God blesses all of you, your wonderful & I appreciate you. Thank you so much Barbara Williams
Dear Mary Your box arrived this week with all your darling blankets, hats and wee sets. Thankyou thankyou thankyou. What an angel you are.Our cupboards are full. What a wonderful sight that is! We can't possibly thank you enough for supplying us with all these blankets and outfits and hats. I realize that there are so many places for your work to go, so we feel very blessed that we have been included and are now set with full cupboards. I'm so fortunate to have met you Mary. God bless you Hugs Sue
Mary I wanted to let you know that my mom got her lovegan box yesterday -- she called me last nite and she was crying and I really got worried then she told me about it and they were tears of joy. She said that there were people out there that really cared for her and they didn't even know her. She was so happy about everything in the box that she stayed on the phone talking for over and hour. Again Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I haven't heard her this happy in a long time. Thanks again Pat K.
hello online angels I am philippa read, you might have already got an e-mail from. I am James' twin sister. thanks for the blanket, the colouring book, the pen, the skipping rope and all of the other things james has really enjoyed them. take care Philippa
Thank you for the box you sent me for my son? I have had so much going on, I don't know if I did. I am sorry if I forgot altogether. I Thank You from the bottom of my Heart.....Jimmy used the lap robe in his wheel chair. He has a hard time getting around, and had to get him a wheel chair to get him to the Doctors and all. He is doing much better at home, should say he is happier at home. He is determined he is going to beat this. Makes for a nicer Jimmy to be around. He is at least calling and talking to me many times a day. That is how he was B4 this happened to him. We have Hospice taking care of a lot of the expense, nurse comes in twice a week and also an aid comes in to help bath and do what ever he wants done. I don't know who made all the angel's and crosses..they are very beautiful and well done. Thank who ever does these things for our angels in distress as I call my Jimmy. Hugs, Joni
Mary, You're a dear for taking the time to reply to this personally. Clarissa is thrilled right down to her toes to receive this acknowledgement and positive feedback for her contribution. Thank you for this and for all that you do! Also, I wanted to mention to you that a while back (about a year, I think) you sent a package to my MIL after her mom passed away. She didn't know that I had initiated the gift, but found out about a month later. Do you know, that that gift of love has made a huge difference in my relationship with my MIL? She was so touched by the afghan and all the nice things inside, she really wondered where it came from. And later, when she found out that I had asked you to send it to her, she really was so pleased. My relationship with my in-laws has had its ups and downs (to put it mildly) but I've been doing my best to keep it positive and build it up. The gift from Online Angels had a very unexpected positive impact on that. Of course I didn't have you send it for that reason and I sure wasn't expecting it to have such an impact. But I wanted to let you know. Your gifts make a difference in the world. And that difference has a kind of "ripple effect" that you may not even consider. Keep up the wonderful work! -Catharine
While visiting my Dad I visited someone who had received one and commented on how pretty it was. They told me where they had gotten it from and they also loved it and kept it handy. It was done with solid color center squares and a salt/pepper trim arround it trimmed in black. Really an unusual combination but really gorgeous, especially being as it went to a gentleman. They do beautiful work, hats off to your joiners Mary. Love, Sonja
Just waned to let you all know that Livingston County Helping Hands in Smithland, Ky emailed me to say THANK YOU to Online Angels for the lovely box of baby things. They said they could not believe all the beautiful crocheted baby items! Ashey
I am sure that you have heard more distressing stories than you care to remember, so I wanted to give you an update that will make you smile. At the time of Julie's accident it was 3 days before the doctor would give them statistics which were still crushing. He said that she only had a 30% chance of living. Two weeks later she still wasn't out of the woods and that was the first time I could see her as I live in AZ and she lives on the coast in CA. Today, 3 weeks after the accident she is finally out of the woods and we know she will live. She is out of ICU and although she is still classified in a coma, she can preform some direct commands as well as initiate speech. As a parent we love for the best for our children and when the other night when Julie's father was saying goodbye to her she said, "Good bye Dad, I love you too!" These words helps us all know that she will definitely be coming back to us fully and that she will walk down the isle of her wedding that has been planned for a year from now!!! Thank to all the online angels that help with the lovephans that are sent! I have been blessed twice now with the gifts that were sent by my request by knowing how they touch people when they receive them. Thank you to you for volunteering your time and efforts for this ministry that spreads blessing in such special ways!!!!! :) Donna:)
Mary the box for the children arrived today and they were beyond happy. you truly brought smiles and even some giggles from our precious babes today. thank you so much. God bless you and Online Angels. love, Sue
Hi Mary, Your box arrived today and it was like Christmas! I was so tickled as I took each item from the box as all I could think of was the little ones that would be so thrilled to get these things. The bears were adorable too! The hospitals love those to give to the parents to take home with them when the little ones leave the hospital. I am making a delivery on Friday so I will take your love gift to them. Again, thanks so much for the gifts and your kindness. God Bless and Keep you, Teresa Teeny Tiny Treasures
I just wanted you to know that Jim and Michael recieved thier boxes. Jim is waiting until he sees Michael next week end. He feels he wants to share the opening of both boxes. He is very impressed that Online Angels would do this for them. I am sure I will hear more from him after they have opened the box (or boxes) and I will write more then. Angel Hugs, Mary Monk
Connie Schaffer told me to thank all of you for her box. She said it really made her day. She was so down that day and it made her feel so much better. It sure makes me feel great to be able to help someone have a smile on their face and feel better as I know the rest feel the same. Thanks to all of you Angels for all your good works. God Bless each of you. Linda/NC
To all the angels, I, as a recipient of a box, and now a member can vouch for the fact that the day I got my box was indeed a day that I needed to know I wasn't alone. It touched me so much. And thats why I joined the group, I wanted to reach out and touch others. And doing my things for the box I sent this month has been a very big focal point and help in my life right now. It has gotten me thru this very difficult birthday month and a very special wedding to be this coming Saturday. Just had to add my 2 cents worth and thank all of you once again. Maureen in NC
I talked to a friend whose mother received a loveghan box. Kathy said her mom was so surprised and it really made her day to get the box. She said her mom, Brenda, cried to think there were so many people out there who did not even know her but cared so much for her. Kathy said we could not have made her mom happier if we had given her a million dollars. She has it in her livingroom where she uses it and shows it off to everyone who come visiting. Makes one feel so good to know how people appreciate these items we work so hard on and put so much love and caring into. Wanted to share this thank you with you all. Love and hugs to all the ANGELS. Linda/NC
Hello! I want to thank Mary and everyone for the wonderful loveghan box that was sent to my brother in law. He was so surprised and it really did cheer him up! He has cancer and has been in the hospital for a month and been through so much! It gave me a wonderful feeling when my request was approved and to know how much this was going to cheer him up. I don't know how to thank you. I can make squares or anything else if that will help. This means so much to my family. We have all been through so much in the last few yrs. Thank You again! Take Good Care, Peggy
I'm so sorry it has taken me this long to thank you all for the lovely useful laprobe. It came in a very trying time for me & I still find it a useful comfort, it is never very far from my side. I would also like to thank the person that thought about sending it to me. I hope others that have received the package got as much comfort as I have. Love, Helen Coghlan

Mary, Thank you so much for sending a wonderful box to my sister, Lois Swanson. She received her box yesterday and was just so overwhelmed with the generosity and thoughtful gifts. She said it made her cry. She really needed that encouragement this week. She's just hit 18 weeks in her pregnancy and is on bedrest for the entire pregnancy. She doesn't get much computer time and wanted me to make sure I sent a big thank you to all of you at Online Angels! SO BIG BIG BIG THANKS!!! Kathea Kelley
Dear Online Angels, I received te beautiful love-ghan/laprobe today. It meant so much to me, as today was the second week my husband was gone. Delmar passed away May 18, 2004. I can't imagine life without Delmar, bur I can't wish him back. He had cancer & suffered so much from pain. I wished I could thank the person who submitted my name. We are so fortunate as we have so many caring & loving friends & they were & are here for me. God bless you all & thank you so much. The Delmar Taylor family

Mary, Thank you so much for the wonderful gifts and the beautiful blanket. Ashley had a 2 week stay in the hospital and we took her blanket with her. She slept with it every night. It is so wonderful to know that there are such wonderful people in this world. I can't begin to thank you enough. Love, Kelly & Ashley
Dear Mary, I just wanted to thank you again for the love-ghan for my daughter Rebecca. She sleeps with this afghan every night. When it came I explained to her that it was sent by people who thought she might need a little extra love and comfort to get through the troubled times we were having with her father. She says that when she sleeps with it, it makes her feel safe and loved. You truly provide a caring and generous service. It is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Elizabeth Moore Martinsville, VA
Dear Mary and other online angels. I want to thank you very very much for all your care, love and support for a child that was a complete stranger to you. We got the big package with the loveghan and other goodies in it last night and I took it over to her right away. She was Thrilled and wrapped up in the very very soft love you sent and danced around her living room then curled up on the couch with it. Rebecca is almost completely healed..her energy is back and her mom tells me she is always hungry. Her bandages should come off sometime over the next 2 weeks and the collarbone should be almost back to normal by then too. She is still wearing bandages over her right arm up to her shoulder and over her back and also on her left knee but she is doing fantastic. I know in part that is due to all the prayers you also have been sending her way. thank you again. She very much loved all the goodies in the box and if she could thank you I know she would ...so she sends it thru me...Again thank you so much for all your love and care Rubber hugs Coach Marie McClung
A while back your organization sent me a package of lovely things. I cannot express how beautiful an act of kindness that was. I was at a very low place at that time, and that package was just the lift that I needed that day. Thank you so much. I tell everyone about you guys, and I pray that you will continue to be blessed as well as continue to bless others. Thank you again. Always, Sue Bumgardner
Dear Mary, WOW.... ALL I can say is WOW!. We did receive a package yesterday. it was fed ex'd but apparently the fed ex guy got lost or something cause it should have been here sooner according to the ship date. Do you head up this program? I wasn't sure of your last name. but this was very awesome indeed. The blanket was a gorgeous green/pink and white afghan and just as soft as could be. Took it over to Rebecca last night and she wrapped it around her and danced thru her house to the couch. She was thrilled. She also enjoyed all the other goodies that came with it. Her mother was overwhelmed and loved it too. Thank you so very very much for heading this up for her. Rebecca is still in bandages but they figure another 2 weeks and those will be off an the collarbone should just about be ready to go again. This of course doesn't slow Rebecca down a bit. She's a ball of energy all over again. Rubber hugs and a million and many more thanks again for the care of and love you all have shown her. Marie McClung
Dear Mary, I received my box from the Online Angels Group yesterday and it was a wonderful surprise at a time when I could use some comforting. My husband passed away on May 25, 2004 and it is wonderful to know that someone cares enough to submit my name to your organization. The loveghan was beautiful and I will always treasure it. Thank you again and may God bless the work that you do. Sincerely, Dorothy Pettit
Hello all. I'm relaying this thank you from my Aunt Helen whom we sent a box to this past January after my Uncle Roy's passing. She called me today from Mississippi. She absolutly loved the ghan and couldn't say enough how gorgeous it is. She says she is very touched and very thankful to all who made it. Made her cry but she says it was a good cry and it has trully brought her a lot of comfort. Told me how everytime someone comes over she bring it out to show them. She's learning to get by but still finds it hard without my Uncle. They were together for 50 yrs. This past June 6th would have been their 51st Wedding Anniversary. Continued prayers for her would be welcome. Mainly she just wanted to be sure I thank everyone for her. She really loves it. Thank you all so much from me too. Teresa B

""I talked to her mom last night and she said that Priya is doing wonderfully. She said that she has gotten so many beautiful cards & gifts that she just knew that is what helped her recover so quickly. She received a beautiful blanket from the Online Angels and some artsy stuff which she just loves. Michelle (the mom) said that she just can't believe that there are such wonderful people in the world that would just send a card, stickers, gifts, etc to a little girl that they have never even met. Michelle had tears in her eyes while she was talking to me and wanted me to relay a very BIG THANK YOU! to all of my friends that did this. Priya has to go back in January for a check up and then again in 6 months and again at a year, but she is doing extremely well. She had part of one kidney removed and some "water works" issues taken care of. Once she gets the stint out she'll fee much better too. Again I just want to say thank you to all of you that sent her cards and gifts, I hear that she now races to the mailbox everyday to see if she has mail and it's still coming in from what I've heard. Thank you all so much, you are all angels in disguise I know you are! Teresa
Dear Angels: We recently received your donations of knitted hats, booties, sweaters and even diapers and a breastfeeding pillow!. Thank you very much for your support to our families. It is always comforting to families to see that their infants are remembered in such a thoughtful way. Perhaps it is because of the Season but we have recently received many more donations than we can handle at this time. Our unit does not have storage for everything we have received. We would like to ask that any further donations be put on hold for now or be redirected to another organization. We probably have enough of a surplus to last about 4-6 months! I will be able to contact you later on as the stock dwindles to see if we can restart the donations. Thank you in advance for your understanding. Your work is truly seen as a labor of love. Sincerely, Maria McColley, LCSW Clinical Social Worker Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Dear Online Angels, I received my love-ghan last Friday and I love it! Your generosity is greatly appreciated. It is very comforting to know there are people out there who really do care. Thank you so much! Lynn
Mary, when I talked to Phil and Lynne today, they said the box had just gotten there, and were so touched by it.. the colors of the luvghan fit the front room perfectly.. said it's as if you could see their room...and the two I love you buttons, the boys saw right away, and they are going to wear them to the funeral tomorrow. They thought everything was so nice and thoughtful and how great the Online Angels are.. said they would be sending a "Thank You" note later on...but wanted me to let you know how much they were touched.. Love n Hugs, Allene
Dear Mary and all Online Angels I am sending a thank you for the love-ghan that was to Lynn, she will write but she is still in a lot of stress. The court was the 3rd of the month, the one that sold the fentynal patches to Lynn's son was only 21 years old and was in a drug ring. It took so much for her to speak about her son. She was so touched with her love-ghan and the things u sent, it was amazing that people would tough her life as it did. So thanks to u all Geri
Mary, Debi got her box already! Super fast. She posted on my other yahoogroup, since I kept it a surprise that OA was sending it to her, she doesnt know I requested it for her. She was very touched, said she started to cry. She will be taking the blanket with her to the hospital, which is wonderful. It will give her hope, I think, as will everything included through all her upcoming procedures, and during her time of pain beforehand. Thanks so much. Its reasons like this, to hear how happy we make people, that is why I am so glad i joined OA! Here was Debi's email: ""We just got home and on the porch was a FedEx box. Will when I opened it and read the letter, the tears started flowing. Inside was a love-ghan. I am taking that to the hospital with me. Also there are lots of other encouraging items, an angel, crochet cross, a button that says I am loved and lots of items. The timing was perfect. The tears are still flowing. Tonight was our kick off for Celebrate Recovery. I was so emotional when I got in the van because there were so many women HURTING. I felt helpless to just sit and listen. Then I came home and found this box. Whoever sent it, needs to realize what a GREAT pick me up it is. I just don't know how to say thanks. God bless you. ~Debi""
To whom it may concern, Thank you for all the donations you have sent to the OB department at Johnson Memorial Hospital. It is such a nice treat to hand out these beatuiful hats and booties to our families. What a great idea! Thank you again for all the care packages. Terri Spencer, RN Director, Perinatal Services Johnson Memorial Hospital
I received a box today for the Hurricane victims on the Coast. All you angels have been just fantastic!! The boxes that came last week were delivered this weekend and the hats, scrafs, etc. just went out almost immediately. It has been over 4 months and there are still places without electricity and phones. The ones who are receiving these items seem to be so appreciative. Again thank you all.......all this helps to remind me of how blessed I am. Love you all, Sew Blessed, Judy in MS
