My Mother got home from the hospital late Sunday, and opened her loveghan package yesterday. She was so pleased, and so surprised. The quilt is absolutely lovely, and she loved each cross that was enclosed. And whoever made the wonderful bookmark with the teddy bear on it -- Mother loved that. She collects teddy bears, so it took her eye right away. Thank you, Angels. We're getting the hang of caring for Mother at home, and I'm hoping to get started on more squares to send you soon, Mary. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. It arrived last night at the house. Randy, Mary's husband, opened the box and he told Mary he had tears in his eyes. He said it was so thoughtful. Mary will see it when she gets home from the hospital. She was suppose to go home on Tuesday but her white blood cell count went down and they want to keep her a couple more days til her white blood count goes back up. You really touched this family and they really appreciate it. Mary said she thought your phone number was with the package and that Randy was going to call you and thank you. My nephew, Ricky, received your wonderful box yesterday. He was so happy with everything and immediately wrapped himself up in the blanket-he slept 12 hrs!!!! I am so grateful for your love and generosity. He will be home from school until the eye is stable enough for surgery-around January. Your prayers are greatly appreciated. Thank you for brightening my Aunt's day with the Loveghan box that was sent to her. She was very pleased with everything she received. So much so that she would like to request that a Loveghan box be sent to her niece. Her niece has cancer also & it has taken over her body. Dear Online Angels, We received a box full of hats, booties, knit blankets & small stuffed animals. What a surprise & what a blessing to our babies here at the Georgetown UniversityNeonatal Intensive Care. Premature infants lose alot of hear from their heads and generally need to have some clothing to help them stay warm. When hats & booties are on the babies the parents can also see that even thought their babies are small they are truly babies. Thank you once again.
