Hi there, I am so sorry for not writing this thank you sooner. I received a lovely yellow floral lapghan (quilted I believe) and some lovely hand crocheted crosses, angels and pc crosses. I am assuming that it was you that had requested it to be sent to me. I did save the card that was in it but in rush of getting home from the hospital I have misplaced it. please send a big warm thank you and bunches of hugs to the group that sent it to me. it certainly made my day. I love it because it is lightweight and can be used to cover my shoulders when I get a chill also. again thank you so very, very much. pls. pass this on the group. thanks Sally
My dil said that her dad, Richard Mitchell, loved the afghans and items sent to him. He took the afghan straight to bed with him and he clings to it. He and the family could not believe that people who did not know him would send him such lovely items. He is not doing to well. The cancer is in his brain and lungs. The entire family sends their thanks. My oldest son's step mom got her afghan and she too wrapped up in it immediately. A thank you comes from the entire family for sending the gifts. She also is not doing well. She has quit eating and does not want to be around many people at one time. The cancer is taking its toll on her. Have heard that she will be lucky to make it til Christmas. I want to thank all of you as well for sending a package to these two people. It means a lot to all of us. Love and hugs, Linda/NC

I want to thank each and every one of you for helping me with my SOARS project and my Warm clothing project. You will be bring joy to alot of people believe me. I am going to copy the letter that was enclosed so I can put a copy with the warm clothing items and a copy with the cards. Also I decided to put The Online Angels Group on the cards also. Don't ask me why but something just told me that was what I needed to do. Don't worry I won't get writers cramp either. What I did was I used clear labels and put as many on a label as I could and then printed a sheet. I did this with some of mine that I sent also. All I do is cut them apart and put them on the card, piece of cake. Things are just getting in full swing with both and I can see it is going to be a great year. Mary, My mother received her gift yesterday and called me this morning at 6:00am to let me know all about it. She said it came from Pennsylvania and it had the most beautiful afghan, it reminded her of the Bible story, Joseph and the coat of many colors. She is bringing to me this weekend to show me everything, even the magnet shaped like a swatter with a fake fly on it. Thank you so much. Dear Online Angels, I had the nicest chat with the Johnsons this week. I called to find out if Mariah (11 year old) needed a ride to Girl Scouts when Mom asked "Are you my Angel?" I tried to play "dumb" (which believe me isn't hard for me to do LOL) but then admitted that I knew those wonderful Angels. Megan was so thrilled! She's been really sick with the chemo they've switched her to and the Goody Box was received on a day when she had been feeling really poorly. Thank you so, so much for the beautiful yellow and white Love-ghan for my daughter Rachel. I cried when I wrapped her up in it. We cuddled together for an hour. I explained to her that the "Online Angels" created this beautiful Love-ghan just for her, and that every time she wrapped it around her she will feel the love her dad has for her, even though he is in Heaven. What an incredible kindness this is. I have wanted to give her something special to have when she misses her dad, and this was beyond perfect. My son Christian loved all the little stuffed animals. He has slept with them every night since they arrived. He has names for all of them and I told him the "Online Angels" sent them to him so when he wakes up in the middle of the night missing his dad, he will have his little friends to hold, and he won't need to feel so alone. I was so surprised, thrilled and honored that I was chosen to be the recipient of a love-ghan box. The quilt is so beautiful, the colors are perfect, but best of all I know that it was made and sent with the love of all of you. The little angels and crosses which were included with the love-ghan are very special. I don't know who turned my name in to receive this wonderful gift, but it arrived on a day that has been a rough one for me. Without going into any great detail, the last 2 years have been very difficult for me. My mother passed away, my oldest son had to have several eye surgeries from the complications of diabetes, my middle son was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Leukemia/Lymphoma; his baby was born at 26 weeks and spend 8 months in the hospital; my son relapsed and went through 3 very experimental and toxic different rounds of chemo trying to get him back into remission so that he could have a stem cell transplant. Unfortunately, David only survived 3 weeks after his beautiful little daughter, Mackenzie came home from the hospital. David passed away 2 days after his 34th birthday. As strong as I thought that I was, I have found myself very depressed, having anxiety attacks, etc and yet still trying to work, take care of my physically handicapped daughter, help take cae of my precious little Mackenzie, and not ignore the rest of my beautiful family. Then to add to my stress, my youngest son, a Sargent First Class in the Army was sent to Iraq the middle of September. He and his wife and 4yr old son had just moved back to Colorado 3 weeks before he left. He is stationed in the middle of Baghdad/Tikrit area and is in the middle of all the chaos. Just when I thought that not much else could go wrong, I got another wake up call...my daughter was diagnosed with diabetes and I just got home last night from the hospital with her. I am completely stressed to the max and tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Then, bless your hearts, my wonderful box of love arrived this afternoon. You have no idea how much this means to me. Words simply cannot express my gratitude to all of you who put your love into all these items for other people. May God bless each and everyone of us. Love, Shirley Greer

Mary, My In-laws received their box of goodies yesterday and were moved to tears! We went over to visit today and I got to see all the nice things that you sent to them. The quilt is beautiful! My mother-in-law had it across her lap when we walked in. I didn't even realize that quilts were sent out. I can't thank you enough! This has meant so much to them. Dear Ladies (& any gentleman angels), I just wanted you all to know how thrilled and surprised my sister was to receive a box from Online Angels. She could not imagine how it happened (I wander!!!!). I was able to visit with her yesterday and she showed me the quilt. It was lovely! She said shortly after receiving it she herself to bed for a nap, cuddled up with the quilt. Dear Mary, & all the Online Angels, Thank you for the package of love I received it on Wed., Nov 26th. When I opened the packages, the spirit of love floated from the package & filled the room. As I was taking the magnet & crosses one of a kind angels and the loveghan from the package I could almost see all of you creating your love gifts. My Husband, David, was diagnosed with Alzheimers Disease about 4 years ago. Two days before I received the package he had the worse seizure he has ever had. Those two days were very trying for me, physically & emotionally. So, when the package arrived, the timing was perfect and I was blessed beyond words.
